CHAMPION YOUTH KARATE TECHNIQUE COMPETITION
All Champion Youth students Pre-Yellow
Belt and Higher are invited and encouraged to
attend the Champion Youth Technique Competition. Students
will PRACTICE Sparring &
Forms for the first 2 hours. Students will then be divided by age and
by belt
to compete for the best punch, kick and block. Instructors will
also
perform Martial Art Demonstrations! See
directions and map on back.
Pre-Yellow, All Yellow, All
Orange Belts check in at 8:00 am.
Purple Belts & Higher
check in at 11:30 am.
The
Technique Competition is a great learning experience for all students,
even
beginners. It promotes competitive
spirit, self-confidence, and courage! All competitors will receive a
neck
medallion for attending and a chance to win a Karate Trophy! Champion
Youth
instructors will conduct self-defense demonstrations and they will also
be
breaking boards for demonstrations!
Uniforms,
cups & mouthpieces, and Hand and foot pads are
mandatory for
Technique competition participation.
Purple
belts and higher ranks need sparring vests and head gear.
Competition fee for
Pre-Yellow, Yellow, & Orange Belts:
$25 ($30 at the door)
Competition fee for Purple
Belts & Higher:
$30 ($35 at the door)
Spectators and guests: $3
Children 4 & under: free
Food will be available in the
cafeteria.
